Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) simulations are supported by the ASTOS software as is. The Batch Mode Inspector in combination with the Simulink GNC and optionally the error model feature provide a comprehensive framework for any GNC/AOCS sizing, simulation and validation task.

Processor-in-the-Loop (PIL) simulation can be achieved making use of the unique combination of ASTOS with the dSPACE SCALEXIO^® system.

Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulations is in the ASTOS world the extension of the PIL environment with dSPACE interface cards connecting your hardware.
